Windcrest LiftBits Ltd is a member of LEIA. The Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) is the representative body for the Lift Industry in the United Kingdom. Amongst the aims of the Association is the improvement of standards through the promotion of training.

LEIA is an EAL Approved Assessment Centre, which enables it to set standards and monitor registrations of candidates undertaking NVQ's as well as being the main point of contact by SEMTA and EAL for matters regarding qualifications in this industry sector. Since the introduction of the NVQ's the Association has been very active in developing, with the approval of SEMTA, specific units relating to members requirements.
